R.D. LAWRENCE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF SPRINGFIELD BEGINS $1 MILLION
ADDITION TO HILLIER STORAGE & MOVING CO.
SPRINGFIELD - R.
D. Lawrence Construction Company of Springfield today began construction
work on a 42,340 sq. ft. warehouse addition for Hillier Storage and
Moving at 2728 South 11th Street in Springfield.
The $1 million
dollar project includes design and construction of the addition to the
existing facility. The maintenance-free exterior shell will be constructed
of insulated pre-stressed concrete wall panels that will also provide
roof support.

John Goetz, President of R.D. Lawrence Construction Company. “This
is the third addition we have built for Hillier Storage & Moving

we are pleased to play our role in helping Hillier grow into the future.”
The construction
phase of the project begins today, July 1st , and is expected to be
completed by October 1st. The architect for the project is George P.
Kelly. Brown Engineers is providing structural design.
Current R.D. Lawrence
Construction Company projects include upgrading the heating, ventilating
and cooling system at Dubois School in Springfield, the construction
of the new public high school and middle school in Beardstown and the
expansion of Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.
